IC 11 - 28hzwp5

[I'm sure we could modify this for 2 tribes too]

electoral college challenge:

3 Tribes:
each tribe member has 20 commercials PER PRIMARY ELECTION they can use to help "sway" the people of each state to vote for their tribe's candidate.
They may place all of their commercials in one state or spread them out amongst many.
The tribe who has the most commercials played in a state will win that state and its corresponding number of votes in the electoral college.
If two tribes tie for the most commercials in one state, the state will go to the third tribe instead. If all 3 tie then the state will go to nobody.
The tribe with the most ELECTORAL COLLEGE points will win immunity. If there is a tie the tribe that won the most states during the "Super Tuesday" primary will win. If there is still a tie the tribe that won the most states during Primaries 4, 3 and 1 (individually and respectively) will win.
The individual player on each tribe who contributes the most commercials-that-led-to-a-state-win will earn Emperor/Warlord status. If there is a tie in this regard it will be resolved on a primary by primary basis, same as for the challenge, starting with "Super Tuesday".
The primaries will occur in roughly the same sequence as the U.S. democratic primaries in 4 rounds (all primaries after super tuesday are roughly divided in half). We ask, however, rather than taking 4 days to do this, that you each submit all of your commercial choices in 1 list. Remember, you get 20 commercials PER PRIMARY.

Not sure how many electoral points a state is worth?

electoral college challenge:

[Individual Challenge]

Welcome, Leaders, to your next challenge: The Electoral College.

Typically during an election only 2 candidates compete. For this challenge all 8 of you will compete individually as your own candidate.

Each of you has 100 commercials PER PRIMARY ELECTION (excluding Super Tuesday) that you may use to help "sway" the people of each state to vote for you.
For Super Tuesday, you each have 300 commercials.

You may place all of your commercials in one state or spread them out amongst many.

The player who has the most commercials played in a state will win that state and its corresponding number of votes in the electoral college.

If no commercials are placed on a state by any player, the state goes to nobody.

If two or more players tie for the most commercials in one state, all those in the tie will forfeit the state and it will go to the next highest commercial placer. If the tie ends up knocking out everyone, the state will go to nobody.

The player with the most ELECTORAL COLLEGE points will win immunity.

If there is a tie the player that won the most states during the "Super Tuesday" primary will win. If there is still a tie the player that won the most states during Primaries 4, 3 and 1 (individually and respectively) will win.

The primaries will occur in roughly the same sequence as the U.S. democratic primaries in 4 rounds (all primaries after Super Tuesday are roughly divided in half). We ask, however, rather than taking 4 days to do this, that you each submit all of your commercial choices in 1 list. Remember, you get 300 commercials for Super Tuesday and 100 commercials PER EACH OTHER PRIMARY.

Copy and paste the list below into your Journal in a thread entitled "Electoral College Challenge" and after each state put the number of commercials you'd like to play there. You may place 0 if you want. The number of electoral college points each state is worth is in parenthesis.

Another thought. We use this challenge at the final 8. Split the 8 players into 2 teams: Candidate A and Candidate B. Whoever's Candidate wins is "safe". The MVP on the losing tribe is safe. The remaining 3 on the losing team are nominated.

Anyone with a veto at this point may use it to remove themselves (or another player, although by doing so does not guarantee them from being nominated in their place) from the block.

The MVP on the winning candidate's team acts as defacto HOH and will replace anyone who uses a veto. If everyone uses a veto they could end up nominating their entire "winning" team!

Everyone votes Tengaged style (including nominees and MVPs) with 3, 2 or 1 vote for each of the 3 candidates.

The 1 player with the most votes is eliminated.

Another thought:

We keep this as an individual challenge. All 8 people are their own candidate trying to win each state on their own. The player who wins the most electoral college points is the HOH. The 3 lowest finishers (the 3 that acquire the least number of electoral college points) are nominated tengaged style. Anyone can use a veto if they have it. The HOH replaces noms if necessary. Everyone votes including HOH and Noms.
