The Sims 3 Empty
PostSubject: The Sims 3   The Sims 3 EmptyTue Feb 02, 2010 10:25 pm

So I was wondering if anyone here played the Sims 3? I have it and love playing it but its gotten a bit stale though, plus I think I liked Sims 2 a little better.
Anyone else?

I play it, but it doesn't get stale to me cause I never have time to play it at school. It does get boring if it's on epic though. It's been forever since I played Sims 2, so I can't remember exactly what's different about it. I like some parts of each one the best though. Like the simplicity of Sims 1. I kinda miss it sometimes.

I had to resist buying this game for weeks when it came out, because I knew I'd be obsessed...

The problem I have with Sims 3 is it isn't enough of a jump from Sims 2 like Sims 2 was from Sims 1. It seems like a stripped down version of Sims 2 with some added features.

I've been trying to get myself back into playing it but it hasn't happened yet, hopefully soon it will

Yeah, they mostly changed customization between 2 and 3. Maybe they'll make an expansion pack soon. It's been like 8 months.

well they had World Adventures but I refuse to pay $40 for it. Plus this month they are releasing a stuff pack (hate those)

The next expansion is rumored to be Hobbies and Professions or something like that and not gonna be out until June

Uh yeah, making sims travel for vacation is too complicated. Stuff packs barely give you anything. Sad I made the mistake of buying one for Sims 2 and both my sister and I were disappointed.

Yeah I bought one too it was a waste of money (the Stuff packs)

I have tried on a few occasions to use Sims to make a Survivor video series (or Big Brother) it never really works though lmao

I have yet to play this version of it yet, but I loved the sims 2 <3. It's just I ended up buying a laptop friendly version of the sims 2 because the actual one doesn't like to run real well on my crappy laptop but I sure miss playing these games.. I should totally start to again! Smile

I doubt it, but has anyone played the iPhone/iPod touch version of this? I get curious every time I see it...
