ORG Planet's Favorites - Lost: Week 3

This week was a little more interesting. Almost every match up ended in votes being 6-5! The exception being Sawyer and Hurley dominating their brackets with 9 and 10 votes respectively. Locke also came in 3rd with 8 votes. Even the threeway was a close one 3-3-5 with Claire as the winner. Thankfully for Jess her secret wallet lover is still in the running, and unfortunately everyone I love other than Jack and Desmond are out...and they're up against eachother...WHYYY??? So are Hurley and Sawyer though and since they've been the most dominating every round it will be interesting to see what happens there!

It wouldn't be that bad if I at least liked the other person. BUT I HATE JACK! Desmond must prevail! But besides Hurley vs. Sawyer, there's someone I don't like in each pair, so this was easy

I love Jack and Des both so much! That was the hardest one for me. I honestly don't know why I like Jack so much, because I agree with almost everything people who dislike Jack have to say about it, HAHA! But I still just adore the man.

The other hardest one was Sawyer vs. Hurley because for the first 4 seasons I just hated Sawyer because he's so generic but he really grew a lot in the last season and became a character that I honestly liked a lot. And the exact opposite happened with Hurley...so...It was really just based on who I disliked for more time. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I can't stand Jack. The facebook group "Jack Shepherd is a Whiny Bitch" pretty much sums up my dislike for him. It's an actual group. Check it out.

But he's just... UGH! ALL he does it whine and complain! I mean, sure, I'm all for flawed heroes, but he shouldn't be JUST FLAWS. I think what pissed me off the most was the season 3 finale, when Sayid was like "I'll stay here with Bernard and Jin, and you go lead everyone to the radio tower", and Jack just SPAZZED OUT! Sayid said it best when he said, "This afternoon, you said you were our leader. It's time you start acting like one."

In the same episode, DESMOND, on the other hand, offered to dive down instead of Charlie. He was willing to sacrifice himself. Jack wouldn't do that. He just wants to get credit for doing "hero" stuff, despite the fact he hasn't acted like a hero since the first season. I actually liked him back then.

this is easy since I hate Jack, Kate and Locke. The only one I'm sad to not vote for is Sawyer but Hurley is my all time favorite Lost character ever.

Hurley versus Sawyer WAS difficult. Desmond, being uniquely and miraculously special, has always been one of my favorites even though I do somewhat-like Jack. I also feel like Kate and Locke are more developed than Claire and Jin. For now at least..

What I see in Jack is actually that he doesn't want any of the hero stuff, not the credit, or the actually doing it, he just kind of feels like he has to. Which is stupid, and is what causes all of his problems. I never like that "if not me, who?" attitude in a character, because it's just like...if not you...someone will do it, just relax." And that's especially true in Lost because Locke or Sawyer or whomever would have just jumped in and WANTED to jump in and fill the role. But yeah...then once people started trying to take that role away from Jack he started to freak out in later seasons and it was like "Okay...you've obviously become an insane person...why does no one notice this?" That's why I loved Jack this last season because

But like I said, I do agree that his character got like out of control bananas annoying for a while there. But I guess that's just because he was out of control bananas and Kate was NOT helping that situation and really life for everyone probably would have been a lot easier if Jack had just snapped and murdered her or Sawyer. Things would have sorted themselves out after that. I think everyone would have felt a lot better.

I DID, but then I changed my mind and changed my vote. I may change it back. I DO REALLY Like Desmond, however, His role in Lost was lesser than Jack's role, which is what made me change my vote, however, Desmond is just awesome. I may change it back. I dunno. Right now I am leaving my vote for Jack.

Less than Jack's role? What about the whole Widmore thing? Desmond is CRUCIAL! All Jack does is pretend he's all heroic. The show could do without him.
