Shadowbrooke Diary Entry, Thursday, April 22nd, 1843
The group gathered within the center of the village in anger. Outraged by the threat of yet another attack, the villagers had decided it was in best interest to eliminate any suspicious behavior before nightfall so that everyone could rest easy.
“Well how do we decide?!?” Heads turned left and right and nervously unsure of where this would head
It was then someone had stated. “BY NOMINATING THE MOST SUSPICIOUS AMONGST US!!”
Shouts of agreement beamed over the gathering and then silence fell upon the group once more. Minds raced as to whom to begin their accusations with. This was quickly interrupted as one man pushed
“I nominate FaWa as a werewolf, just going for a stab in the dark” Alexander the Great had opened the nomination floor with his accusation.
No sooner did Alexander the Greats nomination sounded over the group when another had come to the side of Alexander the Great.
Professor Momo stood confident as he gave the once over to Alexander the Great and spoke. “I’m going to second this. But only because I feel like that pig has such a knowing wink”.
Had Alexander the Great shot a quick wink to the Professor? Was it not noticed by the group? As the second nomination resounded across the village, the group parted revealing FaWa. Silently FaWa stood head lowered towards the ground
Not one word for what seemed to be the longest silence this village had experienced.
Then it happened, with a tight lip and a quivering voice FaWa Spoke. “Well, all I can say this early if that you guys will really regret voting me” A Frown crept across the face of Fawa and silence yet again fell over the lonely figure.
A disapproving shake of the head came from the few surrounding FaWa.
It is time to vote the group agreed after the nominations that if more than half of the village thought FaWa to be the culprit that it would be done. FaWa would be lynched in the village square for the accusation of being one of the werewolves amongst the group.
Caligula spoke shortly after FaWa’s nomination occurred “I vote against lynching FaWa. I think not being more involved in the initial accusation process is VERY un-wolf like"
Pete confused as to what to think began to vote as well in a pensive state “hmm, I really don’t know if I shold vote yes or no, but honest it is the first round and someone’s gotta go. I am going to vote yes at this time, but I may change my mind. I vote to lynch FaWa”
FaWa looked towards Caligula and Pete almost in a reassuring voice directed at the both “It’s okay, the first day gets a little ridiculous sometimes.”
Vastfanatic upon watching the chaos unfold so quickly simply stated her choice clearly “I vote no.”
With two votes against the lynch of FaWa and one vote for it was still too early to know the fate of the first accused.
After hearing the responses from the ones who had voted, Alexander The Great eyed FaWa up and down carefully and indeed chimed in his vote “I’m gonna go with a yes to lynch” His fingers crossed in hopes of what would be a successful target he had nominated.
With the town divided FaWa’s fate stood in the hands of the Professor, Bryan and Pete who had kept silent.
Calculating his words carefully Professor MoMo piped up finally. “I feel like FaWa is hinting that they are the Seer, but I am going to vote to lynch so that we can just get this day over with. I mean if I was the werewolf that’s exactly what I would have done”, He spoke to the group and laughed.
The group slowly began to realize that FaWa had indeed looked quite suspicious and confirming this nomination and lynch Khufu had given a look towards FaWa in sympathy. “Voting to lynch FaWa” His frown passed towards FaWa.
Just then Bryan had entered the conversation in hopes to get a glimpse into now what the fate was of this nomination and in regret he spoke “Sorry I’m so late guys! I guess it doesn’t really matter how I vote now, so I’ll vote to lynch”
The gang of villagers began to succumb to anger and mistrust as FaWa was ripped and beat to death in the village, as the crowd parted a silence hushed at what they all had found..............
A small crystal ball tucked into the pocket of Fawa’s Jacket…indeed it was the Town’s Seer
The Town began to grow weary, an impending doom set forth amongst the group, the werewolves are still amongst you all. As the sun lowered behind the trees people began to hurry quickly back to their homes before anything could happen.
Would this death be the undoing of the village?
