Werewolf 2 - Night 3 - A Life Replaced

GLENWOOD NIGHT 3: A LIFE REPLACED


Glenwood was in shambles from finding the body of Vastfanatic ripped apart. A hole sunk in the hearts of people who
were close with her. She was regarded highly amongst friends but it led to the question, who would stick their
neck out and lynch a head figure of Glenwood. Out of respect the villagers averted their eyes after the discovery.

Kenya's mouth covered by a sleeve as a slight set of tears began to drain from her eyes. "Oh no, we are down two villagers"
She wiped at her face and moved slowly away from the scene of the crime. "That is so sad. . ." Her voice trailed.

FaWa managed to get a quick look at the body speaking almost as a matter of factly the word flew. "It's better then losing the seer". Fawa continued along side Kenya towards the next village meeting.

Alexander The Great passed by the body as well and with an emotional cry spewed forth the longest NO in the history
of Glenwood. "Not mandie" His accusing eyes looked onward unable to focus his words cut the air as spit flew forth. "you bastards".

As Kenya and FaWa paced themselves along the path towards the town meeting, their pace was slow as kenya spoke to FaWa.
"You make a very good point there FaWa". A reassuring smile broke during a rough moment. "got to remain positive"

Pete was next to see the body of Mandie, he removed his hat gently and shook his head in dismay. "This is absolutely horrible"
His fingers clentched his hat tightly. "Who would choose mandie first!" His eyes too looked suspiciously at each one
present.

As the group neared the village square for the next meeting Dogdude paid his respects before speaking. "Well, lets start
figuring out who we want to lynch, if anyone?" The question was one that was on everyones mind, but like many times before
it was not so easy to stick your neck out and become a target. If it was for the good of the town, someone had to do it.

Alexander the Great had been watching the group for some time and as Dogdude asked the question it was almost immediatly answered by Alexander. "Well it's all a bit scary nominating someone because you know it is going to have reprecussions" A finger rubbed against the side of his face. "I do think dogdude and Jacijs have been a bit suspicious with their behaviour previous meetings."

His fingers moved from his face down to his arm as he held onto his elbow with one hand letting the other drop by his side. "I
am not sure if they are triyng to get people to not suspect them by the things they've said being all for the villagers".
Alexander continued on a side note. "And like I said anyone with dog in their name has got to be a werewolf candidate.

As Alexander pointed a finger towards Dogdude, Dogdude worked on his defense to cast suspicion else where. "Isn't it kind of silly to go after someone because of their name?" He scoffed at the man who raised suspicion against him. "Yes, I did really push to get someone out. We really needed to kill someone to have a chance at nabbing a werewolf. Perhaps Jacijs and others were right though, and we should be going after those that are being quieter. They could be pretty wolf like sitting back and watching us kill each other".

Jacijs had kept her eye on Dogdude for a while staying quiet to ensure that what ever was said between Alexander and Dogdude was finished. She opened her mouth as the crowd quietened down. "I definitely think dogdude is suspicious and I have a feeling he is a wolf." She moved up towards dogdude to look right into his eyes, speaking to the group yet fixated on her target. "Why else would he have gone after Caligula so aggressively?" She turned her back towards Dogdude to address the group once more. I was totally against it and I was right. he was trying to help the village. Not sure why that wasn't obvious to anyone else." She clasped her hands together now and continued. "Alexander why am i suspicious?" She questioned Alexanders reasonings as to why she was suspicious. "I think I have more than proven i am trying to figure this out for the villagers and I was very against Caligula's lynching and you were very much for it by the way" She dusted off her clothes as a slight wind picked up and blew dust about. "Anyone who jumped on that bandwagon to lynch Caligula is a suspect to me.
Jacijs whipped back around towards Dogdude. "Dogdude especially since he lead it and is not trying to back track. I am nominating Dogdude anyone who is trying to figure it out for the group and not just playing with little village cliques should agree with me." She returned to silence once more.

Pete finally gaining enough momentum to contribute to his own thoughts finally spoke. "I really wish I knew where to start and who to suspect for nomination but I really don't. I think if you seriously look at each and every one of us, we are all suspicious somehow." His hands shoved into his pockets and continued to speak "The trick is who is most suspicious? I'd like to say that you should all know that I would never have murdered Mandie" His shoulders tensed and then relaxed "I am terrible at this but I am going to have to second the nomination with jacijs for dogdude, it is still early and i'd rather not lynch anyone like last round but I do feel out of everyone he is one of a couple I am really suspicious of."

As the second nomination occured the group gathered around Dogdude his arms held tight as the group demanded a defense from him. Dogdude let out a sigh and began to explain himself to the group. "We should really be going after people that are not saying a word." he struggled. I realize that now, I made the mistake last round of pushing for someone who wasn't even suspicious." He pleaded with his captures. "I am really sorry, and I am also not a werewolf. It would be extremely unwise to take me out this round. I hope you all can see that. Please vote no to lynching me, and lets go after someone who is quieter."

The Professor looked towards Jacijs and Pete and stood then infront of the captive Dogdude speaking quite factual and opinionated as usual. So last round we were able to say "The wolf is someone really active and pretending to be all for the village or someone inactive and trying to hide" and of course now "The wolf is someone who doesn't know or doesn't like Amanda because they killed Amanda first or someone who does know and like her and is doing it to throw suspicion off."
Somehow I feel like we're not getting any closer to the truth. I agree that Cam is acting a little suspicious, and I didn't want to vote for Deet last round but I figured it was better than not getting anywhere. I still believe very strongly that we should concentrate on one of the less active people from the first round. That's what I would like to do, and I'm voting no on Cam. For one very simple reason. I think it should have been obvious to everyone (because I figured it was going to happen) that you would nominate Cam this round Jacijs, but you survived the night. And frankly turning around from your original stance to wanting to vote out Cam is a little suspicious. But that's the point I'm trying to make. You can rationalize anything anyone does as suspicious. I'm suspicious for voting yes last time and no this time. And if I voted yes this time then I'm suspicious for voting yes twice in a row. If I vote first it's suspicious for being too egar, if I wait it's suspicious for taking too long and trying to lay low. You can rationalize things to make them make sense to anyone being the wolf. I am voting no because I think you're both innocent villagers. I don't care how anyone else votes but I honestly think your guys' rivalry or whatever isn't necessary and it's exactly what the wolf would want, if we lynch Cam and he's not a werewolf then we will all want to lynch Jacijs next because she nominated Cam so SHE must be the werewolf!!!! So yeah, I think you're both innocent. Voting no. Very long windedly."

Kenya upon hearing the professor decided enough was enough all the theories flying around something had to be said. "Wow talk about all this crazy behaviour. Professor Momo, you make a LOT of sense and I completely agree with you, that being said, I strongly feel we were all a bit foolish the last village meeting i am going to have to vote not to lynch dogdude".

Bryan hearing the nomination had sided with the professor and Kenya and voted no, agreeing with the theory presented and stating that words can be manipulated for people to look guilty or innocent and that it was just an honest mistake that happened during the village meeting.

Professor Momo took the floor once more to clarify that he did not think that Jacijs was a wolf either and had no intention of voting to lynch her either. The Professor spoke "i think dogdude and jacijs have just been pitted against each other by mistake"

Khufu stood up now making himself at least heard. "i really do not have much to contribute long windedly, but I am here and listening to everything that is going on"

Pete had heard the defense and some of the points the villagers had made and decided against the lynching of Dogdude as well.

Khufu moments after speaking simply agreed not to lynch Dogdude. As Khufu agreed not to Lynch Dogdude, his captives freed his arms as it became a close call for the man who had almost lost his life to the unforgiving mob of Glenwood. The sun rose now and it was approximately high noon as the heat grew on and the discussion on who to nominate next halted for what seemed an eternity.

Jacijs seeing dogdude freed by his captives glared in frusteration. Her lip almost quivering with malice her voice remained calm as she addressed the professor who had concluded his theory. "Even though dogdude was not lynched, I feel I need to respond to you, Professor." The word professor oozed out of her mouth with a slight distain. "I find dogdudes 180 degree turn and sudden revelation that we should look at less active members of the village to be suspicious". She looked up towards the sky as the sun beamed down, they had been out there for what seemed hours, she looked back towards the professor after some clarity. "I cannot see how you can call me suspicious for wanting to lynch him. It was the fact that he was so unbending, stubborn and so unwilling to see our points and now all of a sudden he "sees the light" that makes me think he is a wolf. Obviously it does no good since you are all unwilling to really look at a viable suspect but maybe we could all sit around, hold hands and sing kumbaya" A hint of frusteration in her voice became apparent. "No, I was not killed, but then
if I was the first night you would all probably look at dogdude right away. Not killing me was actually smart. I still fully believe he is a wolf and he obviously doesn't have to kill me now since no one will listen to me." She laughed slightly to herself at the mess this afternoon was causing. "Oh, but since I just said that now he can kill me....hmm well as you can see the fact that I am alive doesn't really prove anything, but thanks for the second nomination Pete." She nodded towards him "At least someone supports my idea."

FaWa becoming slightly aggitated spoke of nominating Jacijs next if the votes fail Jacijs requested a valid explaination which was returned with only FaWa having a hunch at what they thought was a very opinionated woman hell bent on dogdudes lynching.

Pete hearing FaWa and Jacijs bickering interrupted the two "I think the werewolf is most likely someone who is active but trying to stay out of the arguments which is why I don't think dogdude, Jacijs, the professor and FaWa are most likely not the werewolf. I guess I could be wrong but that is what I think. I also do not think it is Bryan, so that leaves Kenya, myself
Khufu and Alexander the great. I promise you that I am not the werewolf, however I could be completely wrong and off base but this is just my opinion, take it for what it is worth.

Jacijs hearing Pete speak agreed with his theory. "Kenya has been pretty active but has not really given an opinion, she also jumped the bandwagon to lynch Caligula without even batting one eye, and without a reason she does stick out for some reason" She began to trail her thoughts inward.

the professor interrupted Jacijs for a moment. "I was really just trying to illustrate that everyone is accusing people of being suspcious for doing or not doing anything. I have strong feeling that neither you nor cam s the werewolf. I have my own suspicions as to who is though and it is time to reveal and put my money where my mouth is and nominate someone." He took in a deep breath and went for it. "I nominate Khufu, I think he has been acting suspicious
specifically for turning up just to not be viewed as not doing anything but not voting, and then once he sees the vote is giong towards not lynchig to vote or not to lynch so we could move on to another nomination, kind of making it safe. I think we should hear him out but this is my opinion"

Khufu stood in a daze as his name was called for a first nomination. He did not respond at all. Dogdude had nudged him forward and coughed startling Khufu awake. Khufu muttered incoherantly before clearing his throat. "I voted to save cam because Kenya had nudged me to make up my mind and I already stated the reasons in past
why I was saving dogdude."

Kenya addressed Jacijs "The only reason why I agreed voting yes for Caligula is because I thought he could be the Sorcerer or a wolf. I have been very sick as of late so I am not very clear on thinking at times, I do think Khufu is suspicious so I will second the nomination of khufu"

Khufu having enough of this threw his hands up in the air and in a monotone voice spoke. "Yes, I'm a werewolf, which means I can do what ever I want" he collapsed on the floor almost giving up in that moment, his body limp without much life in it.

No sooner had Khufu confessed the village lit up like a wild fire.
Jacijs voted to lynch.

Khufu throwing a bottle of beer towards the group hiccupped "I vote to lunch myself" his words slurred slightly, nom nom nom, as he munched on something no one was aware of. Khufu spun a finger around towards Jacijs "Kenya, Jacijs has been a little too cocky, pointin fingers n such seems crazy kinda like a wolf".

Kenya voted yes to lynch

The professor voted yes to lynch

Dogdude voted yes to lynch

Pete getting caught up in the switched candidates whirl wind of a nomination spoke. "I really do not know what to think, I don't want to vote yes, but I feel if I keep voting no we'll never get anywhere. Therefor, I vote yes to Lynch."

With that the villagers in a frenzy began to lynch Khufu, as the man was being lynched he began to giggle. "Silly, silly kids". As he lay lifeless the group parted to find that Khufu was. . . . . .
