Werewolf Game - Chapter 1 The Beginning

The bells toll in the distance as a young man sits furiously writing by candle light.
Clouds begin to shroud over the skies as the moon dances in and out of the heavens veils.
Scribbles etch at his diary before him his hands shaking nervously. His mouth parched as he
draws in a breath and continues to document his final moments before him.

"It is too late, I was the only one left amongst our village and have taken safe haven
within the abandoned farm from the south of this cursed village square. If anyone should
happen upon my diary I plead you to save the rest. My time has come short it will not be much
longer now. . . "

In what appeared to be a darkened shadow dart across the dimly lit farm house a figure snarled deeply
hungry for the flesh of yet the final victim of the last village. Stalking the terrified man in hunger it lunged
forward and pounced upon its prey.

The young man now left torn to shreds as his final words were cast upon the paper.


Welcome to the village.

Again I will breifly go over the rules.

There are 2 teams. villagers and werewolves.
Werewolves are seeking to kill off all villagers
Villagers are seeking to lynch the werewolves amongst you.

the day will consist of conversation between villagers on who you suspect is a werewolf amongst you all.
Once a villager suggests a person they will make it official by stating

I nominate ______
Someone else if they believe this to be true will second the nomination by stating.
I second the nomination.

Once a second nomination occurs - everyone will then vote on if they are to be lynched. a Majority vote will cause the player to be lynched and removed from the game. People who nominated must vote as well.
no other person can be nominated while someone is being voted on. If majority rule yes to lynch that person is killed. If majority rule no, then a new round of nominations begin.


People voting will have the ability to change their votes BEFORE a majority is made. If a majority has been reached before the vote change. It will not count. So be careful when casting your votes and nominations.

When changing your vote. Please find your original vote placed to lynch or not to lynch and cross it out by editing your post with a line and then posting a NEW post with your changed vote.

If the nominated person is saved by the village and no majority in favour of lynching is casted. a second nomination will occur. Please set up a second round of nominating on your own in the same manner.

If a third time the nominations fail. No one is lynched and the day will simply turn into night.

Please see an example of a simple nomination and lynching round.

Example:

Tina, Jim, Sarah, Louis and Tim

Tina's post: I nominate Tim
Jim's post: I second the nomination for Tim
Sarah: I vote to Lynch
Tim: I can't be the werewolf, i didn't go along with Jim's vote last day and he was the one pointing fingers and ganging up with Tina to kill me, Jim is the werewolf.
Jim: I vote to Lynch
Sarah: I vote NOT to Lynch, sorry Tim, i started to realize that Jim was really quick to be on board with Tina's first nomination. I think Jim is more likely to be a werewolf.
Tina: I vote to Lynch
Louis: I vote to Lynch

Tim would then be lynched and the day time round would be over. Notice how sarah changed her vote and went back to her original vote and crossed it out before the majority vote was casted.

Players nominated during the day rounds to be lynched should be given opporunity out of respect to hear them out before the voting process begins. If it is taking too long for them to respond to them being nominated then please feel free to begin the voting to be lynched or not to be lynched.

Once the day round is over. People who have been lynched and killed off. Please do not post any further in the game. you are invited to respectfully watch what is going on.

If you are seeing something that is aggravating to you and you feel the need to respond, it may end up killing the strategies placed by the werewolves in game, or if you see blatent lies and you are dead, please do not respond or share information between living players or dead players.

During the night rounds. certain roles will be called. werewolves will be woken up and they will then private message me with who they wish to kill during the night. The Seer is a role i have added into the first chapter of the village. The seer is on the villagers side. This person will have the ability to private message me during the night time rounds only and select a player they wish to see their true identity.

these are the only two people who will have any action during the night time rounds. Once the night is over. Day will begin and the village will find out who has been torn apart by the werewolves at night.

Again it is important if you are dead, or have died. Please do not say anything further.

If there are any questions, now is the time to ask away. I will be requesting that everyone who is playing, sign in and advise if they understand their role. I will also ask that when you sign in under this post that you keep all information given to you in private by me a secret.

Try to keep your conversations within this thread. Once the game is over Everyone will be allowed to discuss roles, strategies, frusterations and successes.

Again if there are any questions, please feel free to ask away. I will be starting the game officially tomorrow Tuesday 20th, 2010.

This is the listing in order of sign in. Roles have been handed out randomly using a deck of cards.

This game will be, Public Nominations and majority vote style, with Role Reveal after every death and lynch. This is a simple start out with werewolf. If everyone enjoys this, i will continue a new village after this game with different roles and style of voting and role revealing to make it more challenging.
