Bella just arrived to the village of Cherry which has 2,000 strong and in one way or another, everyone's life was connected to the town's only industry--the St. Paul Coal Company.

Shortly after lunch, Bella ordered some hay taken down to the mine's underground stables in one of the returning coal cars.

Bella was digging inside the Once called the world's safest mine, the Cherry works was one of the first mines in the Midwest to have illumination from electrical power

However, Belle started to get a bit nervous since two weeks before that fall day, the electricity shorted out.

Without an existing union to protest the lack of safety considerations, the Bella and the miners reverted back to open candles and kerosene lanterns strung through the anthill-like maze of tunnels

Bella forgot one spot and ti was under one of these torches that the coal car full of dry hay was left by neglectful stablehands

Bella notice that within minutes, the wooden car was totally ablaze.

Bella and her friends first attempts to extinguish the fire were uncoordinated and unsuccessful

Panic slowly crawled to Bella and her comrabde along the black gangways as the wooden timbers shoring up the walls and ceiling started to burn

During the next few minutes, Bella reflect on all her past and that she would really need Edward right now.

Then the coal vein itself caught fire bringing back and bring back Bella to the real life and she had no choice but the start thinking about survival.

Burning coal produces a thick black smoke which the miners call, black damp, so thick Bella wasnt able to get air, therefore, she needed to get on her knee.

The damp started spreading its fingers throughout the miles of passageways and Bella wasnt able to think and she start panicking and choking.

And because there was only man-to-man communication, the word to abandon the mine moved slower than the deadly smoke and Bella realize that she had not long to live.

Sensing a major disaster, Bella ordered that the fan over the escape shaft, which normally forced air into the mine, be reversed to suck up the smoke

That action sent fresh oxygen down the main shaft and helped to clear the air in some tunnels which allowed many choking miners to reach the surface, finally Bella was able to take a breath of air.

Then suddenly the fan house burst into flames, leaving only one exit, the main shaft, open right away Bella react starting running

Just to let you know that the story as a whole is supposed to only be 15 post which you have gone over. I understand if you misunderstood this and will take that into account when doing scores. If you wanna wrap the story up, do so okay

Bella, realizing that he had a tremendous tragedy in the making, sounded the coal company's disaster whistle which turned every head in Cherry and the surrounding prairie.

Horrified at the news, friends and family pressed close around the main shaft as the cage (the elevator) was raised, hauling up gasping men and boys, Bella was hoping Edward would heard that.
