Waking up unnecessarily early Empty
PostSubject: Waking up unnecessarily early   Waking up unnecessarily early EmptyMon Jan 04, 2010 5:47 am

I've been doing it lately.

After nearly two weeks of sleeping until between 1 and 4 in the afternoon, this has been my surprising awakening schedule the past three days:

Saturday: 10am
Sunday: 9am
Monday: 6am

None with the aid of an alarm clock (I set them for all three of these days, but wake up way before them).

It's weird, and I don't understand it, especially considering last night I went to bed at 2am. Maybe my body is so used to being deprived of sleep that when I set an alarm, my brain keeps it in the back of my mind, and it instinctively wakes up four hours after I fall asleep. In fact, now that I think about it, there may be some truth to this theory. I did fall asleep around 4-5am on Friday and Saturday nights. When my brain knows it doesn't have to wake up for anything (regardless of the time) it sleeps for as long as my body can handle. When it knows it does have to wake up, it sleeps for four hours and then wakes up.

What a terrible situation to be in...

I wanted to sleep today because I didnt feel good yesterday, i still dont feel that great. But noooooooooooooooooooooooooo i couldnt sleep this morning. I woke up at 9:15am, yesterday on the other hand.... I couldnt get out of bed. I slept untill 3pm and only got up because Boyd was gonna be home from work soon and I was gonna make spaghetti for dinner.

Today i had a turkey pot pie at 11:30am.

I wish it were Friday. I like it when my wonderful hubby is home. We watch movies, play video games and chillax together. we havent had a disgreement/fight/arguement/problem in over 2 years. I miss him when he isnt home cause then im home all day by myself trying to find ways to stay entertained. ORGPlanet and Facebook can only do so much.

Sleeping is nice.

Sad Aw, you should...make model airplanes? Just kidding. But really, there's gotta be something you could be doing to blow some time. You should have weekly hobbies. Like each week, pick a hobby that you don't necessarily want to keep forever, but do it for a week, just to like...I dunno experience it, or learn it. Could be fun...?
