Christmas Shopping

Anyone finish yet? Anyone yet to start?

I'm only starting today. I made my whole shopping list, and I'm leaving in a few minutes. I also realized that my gift for my goldfish costs the most out of all the other gifts. I also have to ride the bus for an hour to get it. You can tell where my priorities are at, eh?

My shopping list:

1) Viola sheet music for roommate #1 (she keeps complaining her current sheet music is too hard)
2) A random board game for roommate #2 (she keeps complaining we have no good ones)
3) PJ pants for my sister
4) ...Something else for my sister. Probably makeup or something
5) Something for my mom, which I can't figure out. She's SO hard to shop for.
6) Toy mice for my cat
7) Power filter for my fish
8 ) Whiskey for my brother
9) Some random British show for my dad, which I've already ordered online

Not yet. I can't go shopping until I get moolah on Friday!

I don't want to think about it. I hate xmas!

Luckily I don't have to shop for many. I'm getting dollar store shit for the people on my staff. That's only $15 right there Then I have to buy for my little brother, which is easy. He and I trade lists; no nonsense there. The only problem is the rest of my family. I got something for my mom already (with my little brother; again, no nonsense there), but my older brother and sister never admit to wanting (or needing for that matter) anything; my dad I just don't get shit for, because he's an asshole and doesn't believe in gift-giving anyway.

Oh, and I'll probably get something for my buddy, cuz I think he's planning on getting me something. I don't feel obligated so much as he's kinda opened up the door for us to give each other gifts. No complaints there!!

I am done with all my shopping. Every bit of it.

and I counted 10 presents under the tree for me from Boyd.

As a University student with no source of income I am only getting Christmas presents for a select few. My roomie, my best friend (whose birthday is 5 days before Christmas, so it's more a birthday present) and another friend (whose birthday is 5 days AFTER Christmas) and then my sister and parents.

So far I have gotten:

1. A plaid purple scarf and pair of earrings for December 30th birthday friend
2. A turquoise wallet from Coach for best friend

I still need to get:

1. A Princess Diana biography for my mother
2. A gift card for a clothing store for my sister
3. Talladega Nights and candy for my roomie
4. Something for my dad who is impossible to buy for, maybe a DVD Collection like the Die Hard series or Transporter series.

I need to get my shit together...9 days left.

I don't plan on starting until tomorrow night/Friday morning, so I think you're okay. Aaand, if you've got no income...how are buying stuff from Coach?

What she wanted was only 60 dollars, so it wasn't too pricey haha on the other hand if she had wanted one of their..umm..totally fair priced 400 dollar purses, that's another story.

Why'd you get the turquoise one? I told you to get the other one for her. WHY DO YOU NEVER LISTEN TO MEEEE!?!?!?!!

I just finished a couple days ago...I did most of it online at the beginning of the month...and surprisingly it all came in on time!

Now time to wrap them....I think I may resort to gift bags.....

But wrapping is so fuuun!!

I decided I am not finished. I still have two more gifts to get. One for my sister Stacie and one for my Stepdad!

I have 4 more to get and I've totally got no idea what to get for 3 of them which is why they are left. The other is just because I need to get paid tomorrow and then go get it.

K so I got the gift card for my sister. But I then went into a last minute secret santa, and am doing a work secret santa, so that is two more gifts to add. One step forward, two steps back, graaaggghhhh. Oh, and Jess, she mentioned that she loved my friend Britt's wallet which was the same coloooourrrrrr. So I got her one of similar colour.

Well, I don't care what she wanted. I told you which one to get AND YOU DISOBEYED!

...Anyways. I'm officially all done my Christmas shopping! I have bought:

1) A power filter and a brine shrimp incubator for my fishie, Aesop. He just looooves them. I hatched the brine shrimp (took 36 hours), then fed them to him, and he just went crazy. The filter is way better than the old one too, so he loved it! Price: $60.
2) Cosmo and the drinking game Never Have I Ever for my one roommate. Price: $40
3) A book of viola music and a book of guitar tabs of Coldplay (her FAVOURITE band) for my other roommate. Price: $40
4) PJ pants, eyeshadow, and a dvd set of The Golden Girls for my little sister (Yes... she watches and LOVES that show...). Price: $35
5) The Bro Code (written by Barney Stinson. I died laughing. I actually read it before wrapping it) and whiskey for my brother. Price: $30
6) A To-Do notepad and earrings for my mom. And since her ears are so damn sensitive, I had to buy legit earrings. Like, solid 14k gold with manmade diamonds. I'm just glad The Bay was having a two-day clearance sale and had them all WAAAY marked down, hahaha. Price: $50
7) Some random British show for my dad. My mom ordered it online, so I have yet to actually see what I'm giving him. I'm just glad I'll be going back to school before he has time to try to rope me into watching it all with him (like each past Christmas for a few years). Price: $30 (splitting this gift with my sister).

Anyone else concerned that the most expensive gift is for a 7 month old goldfish?

I would have been all done but my STUPID mom wouldn't leave me alone when she knew I was going Christmas shopping!!!! Really, how silly is that??? So I couldn't get her gift, and I need to go back and get it.

I got my roommate a DS game...it looks stupid and like something he'll never play, but he will understand instantly why I saw it and went "Anders needs this...this is for Anders" because it is this game

I am GOING to get my Moms one of those iPod docks. Because she is constantly complaining that she can't listen to music in her apartment because her Laptop sound is horrid. So I'm getting her one of those thing....not the Bose though...I'm not a millionaire. And this may seem cheap or something but, I'm also giving her my old iPhone, because she wants to 'try' and iPhone and see how she likes it, and I got the new 3GS just recently so I'm restoring the old one and paying to activate it on her account. And also giving her my old Laptop, HAHA, she's getting some old things, but they're still better than the things she has. Well not the iPhone...but the computer is.

For my friend Manda I got a personalized ornament of Santa and Mrs. Claus that I had the man write "I wanna fuck you so hard you can't breathe." and she's going to LOVE that.

I got my aunt Tracy some Ally McBeal DVDs because she wanted them very much.

I got my Boyfriend Scribblenauts and a DS case where you can hold games and whatnot....and a stylus with a pokeball on the end of it......and a pair of pajama pants with polar bears on them!

The only person I still don't know who to get for is my friend Annabella, I have to get her something good but I don't know what...like...she pretty much has anything and everything I could think to get her, HAHA!

I am so screwed. I don't get home until tomorrow and have a family party i have to rush off to right when I get back. I hate shopping when its busy....and I don't even know what to get half the people I'm buying for. argh i suck at gift shopping
