| ORG PLANET'S MUSIC CHART 2014 - Quote :
- Ties will be broken by previous rankings.
Once a song charts it will be allowed to be voted on for 18 weeks. At week 14 every week will add negative points to their tally, meaning it will eventually start to drop off the charts regardless of the amount of votes. This is to keep the charts moving and fresh. Once a song earns a negative point it will not lose those points as they will carry on until they are retired.
Negative points can only be earned 2 ways: 1 ~ No votes during a chart week 2 ~ 14 weeks or older
14 weeks old ~ gains 1 negative point 15 weeks old ~ gains 2 negative points 16 weeks old ~ gains 3 negative points 17 weeks old ~ gains 4 negative points 18 weeks old ~ gains 5 negative points
There are 3 ways a song can be retired: 1 ~ reach week 18 2 ~ Total points for a week equals 0 or a negative # 3 ~ receive a total of 15 negative points in one week (if a song receives votes every week it would receive 15 negative votes on its 18th week, so if a song is younger than 18 weeks old and makes it to 15 negative points then it is time to go).
Points will be tabulated a bit differently this year. Instead of 15 points for a song that is someones #1 song, that song will receive 20 points.
new songs debut with a vote no matter what its first round since any votes to get it on the chart will count the next chart week. | You will notice that starting this week there are only 2 new songs when 4 songs were retired. That is because starting this week 2 spots will be dropping from the chart until we have only 40 songs. I will keep the voting to 20 songs voted for and 5 new songs voted in as we have done it for a while, just eliminating 10 songs to make things a little easier for me to keep track of.

RETIRED THIS WEEK: Dark Horse (1 Week @ #1) - Katy Perry Ft. | I'm gonna update this weeks chart even though I'm the only voter (with no one elses votes carrying over). Though if no one votes this coming week I will unfortunately be ending this.
