Maybe if the homeless did that I'd give them money on the street.

No, I wouldn't, I would probably give money to the UHO though.

The homeless in New York are so entertaining...but I'd never give one money, because then the rest'd all pounce.

Well there's like a website and everything where the 'homeless' go and post how much money they made that day and most of them make more than you or I just going on the street and pretending to be homeless. That's why I'd never give money to the homeless. Especially in NYC specifically there are too many programs to take advantage of with free housing (sure it's in the projects but whatever) as well as ways to get money. Basically the only real reason to be homeless in NYC is because you want to be, "need" to be (because of being a criminal and not being able to do things legally), or are insane (literally).

The UHO however does help all of those programs as well as the people who are in the situations where they don't take advantage of them...so that's where people need to give their money. No one should give money to people on the street, they're just making you into a fool.

My favorite are the preacher-types. I could listen to them all day.

Morris, I completely agree with you about giving money to programs that help the homeless but not giving people on the streets money. There was this guy who was in a wheelchair who had a sign that said he was in the Iraq war, was injured and lost everything, and now he just wants money for food. He'd stay out all day and then at the end of the day he'd stand up, walk over to his car and put the sign and wheelchair in the car and drive away.
Can't trust people on the streets, cause you don't know who is being honest and who isn't

So, I just came home, and the door was unlocked, so I figured one or both of my roomies were home. But neither are. All the lights were on, the tv was on, and the fridge was open.

Becky doesn't have a cell phone anymore, and Kai's cell is laying on the couch, so I can't even call them. I'm a tad concerned o.O

Kai says the best things

She tends to get sad over random things, and then drinks because of it, but alcohol makes her sad. So once, after a night of sad drinking, she's like "It's just like the chicken and the egg, only the chicken is sadness and the egg is alcohol!" She said it so solemnly and seriously, that I died laughing again, then felt bad since she was actually sad, hahaha
