I bought a new laptop cause mine died. the following weekend, just this past one, my little tv in my room died that i had for 12 years, had to purchase a new one. It's a little one but it's an LCD HDTV and it has a dvd player. Hopefully it will be sufficient enough to last me in my room for the next 12 years. I hate buying new things like that. hurts the wallet. cuts into my spending money lol

Windows 8 is actually pretty cool once you get used to it.

Windows 7 is the final version of Windows I'll ever buy. Microsoft spies on their customers way too much, especially with W8. I'll go with Linux when the time comes to switch OS. I really don't like Microsoft anymore at all.

Hey, to each their own. I liked the way the set up is handled, especially because of how the Xbox One is set up the same way. I'd like Linux, but I'm fine with Windows 8.

Once I got used to Windows 8 I liked it. Just some of the features I used were difficult to find. I really only use my laptop for playing on Facebook and checking this site.
