same! I have to be at work right as the storm is expected to hit, and am working til 7pm so that is bound to make things interesting. Hoping it ends up not being bad. Don't wanna lose power lol

The news here in Texas is making it sound sooo bad for you guys. The media usually makes it out to be worse than it is. I hope that's the case this time, but just wanted you guys to know that I am thinking about y'all over there!!

yeah I still had to work that night. District Manager wouldn't close the store down so I was stuck at work til 7pm. Was quite the ride home for sure.

Did lose power right after I left home to go to work and got it back right before getting home. Then lost power 2 hours later for an additional hour, but other than that all was fine

They keep showing stuff on the news. Long Long Long lines of people trying to get gas. I saw a report people are "dumpster diving" in lower manhattan for food. I also saw videos of people siphoning gas out of their cars to power their generators cause they have no power. In some cases they said people might not get power until the 11th of this month or later. I have a feeling things are going to get worse before they get better. I worry about my New York Friends. I feel bad for the people who's houses burned down in the fires. I feel bad for the people who still can't get into their homes because there is still standing water and debris in the roads. I would volunteer if I could.
