Sellaband - This site looks really cool.

So apparently this website, Sellaband, allows aspiring musicians and bands to set up a profile to advertise their material. Then fans can join, listen to all kinds of these bands and make donations to help them raise enough money to record a CD. More: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sellaband
