| It's going. A lot happened in 2011:
1. Graduated 2. Applied to be in the Peace Corps 3. Got through the first stage of Peace Corps interviewing 4. Started working at Target (needed something to do in the meantime -- kinda hated it) 5. While working at Target, got a call from a friend saying that there was a Student Affairs opening at the college where she works 6. Less than 48 hours later, I was hired and am now working at a small college as a Hall Director (if you lived in at college, I'm the RAs' boss) 7. Turns out I really love working in Student Affairs more than I ever expected 8. Also, I have a cat
2012 should be far less crazy. Just work at the college and play video games. Eventually start studying for the GRE and applying to grad schools.

| Yeah, I definitely lucked out. But my advice is to definitely be open to any and all opportunities. You simply won't expect some of them, but if you're not keeping your eyes open, you'll never see them creeping up on you. I never woulda expected this one to pop up! | |

| I realize this is extremely belated but that's awesome! I am planning on going and getting my masters in Higher Education Administration and work in Student Affairs | |

| Nice. Do you know exactly what kind of work you'd like to do? And what kind of institution? I'm currently at a tiny private college, and it's definitely shown me that I prefer my large university origins.
I'm starting to look at schools for my Masters in Higher Ed. So far I'm pretty committed to applying to Ohio State and Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI.
Do you already know where you're headed?
