And we begin a new random chat! #105 had over 300 posts.





I wanted to go to Braums tonight to get a Banana Split right...... we get there, I can see inside, the line isnt too long, good. We proceed to get out of the car, but, there was a group of.... people... with like 12 kids, that were going to make it to the line before we could. I would have had to run across the parking lot to cut them off to get in front of them. Wasn't gonna happen, that would just be too rude. So we casually walk in and like oh em gee, children. ..... too many of them....

We left and went to DairyQueen instead and let me just say, I did not like their banana split. I mean it wasn't gross or anything, I ate it and it was enjoyable. But they didnt even put a cherry on top and it was that vanilla soft serve ice cream. At Braums they let you pic what flavors you want. AND it's real ice cream not that soft serve stuff. BOOOO ON DairyQueen. I should have gotten one of their blizzards instead.

Dairy Queen has the BEST blizzards... everything else is yucky!!!! No body beats Braums Banana Split!

I love their blizzards. I usually get some tropical one with pineapples and coconuts. Boyd likes the chocolate ones.

Oh yah!! I get the Georgia mud one with brownie bits!! OMG! My mouth is watering!!!

We have lots of ice cream shops near us, I'm surprised I don't go more often

The most common ones here I think are: Braums, Baskin Robins, Cold stone, and Marble Slab. Which ones do you have?

We have Coldstone. That's the only big chain one. And Friendly's. And Ben & Jerry's

Newport Creamery is where it's at. They make something called the Super Chipper I havn't had one in so long it's two huge chocolate chip cookies with whatever flavor ice cream you want. And the Awful Awfuls!!! (a big shake) Awful big Awful good!

No DQs near me but I have had a Blizzard a few months ago and those are good. I love shakes/smoothies.

We have Ben & Jerry's, Scoop Grill & Homemade Ice, and Pops Old Fashioned Ice Cream Co.

Those are the 3 closest, and within about a block of me. I live in town lol.

I've had B&J a few times, and I've had Scoops once I think. Haven't tried Pops. But yeah B&J is always reliable to get your ice cream fix

I went to a Ben and Jerry's twice.

Once on Block Island and once on Galveston Island. The time I went in Galveston, the 16 year old bimbo short changed Boyd and then got into an arguement with him about it. He told her to use a calculator and she claimed they didnt have one. He walked out in a puff. Fun times Fun times. We havent been to a Ben and Jerry's since.

I have a friend in australia, one of my farmtown friends (yes I play farmtown so what? ) anyway, two of her FB status' cracked me up tonight. Thought Id share.

How do you expect kids to listen to their parents when Tarzan lives half naked, Cinderella comes home at midnight, Pinocchio lies all the time, Aladdin is the king of thieves, Batman drives at 200 mph, Sleeping Beauty is lazy, and Snow White lives with 7 guys. We shouldn't be surprised when kids misbehave, they get it from their story books.

Yeah it's TLC - Left Eye (the middle) burnt the guy's house down. RIP Left Eye! Have you ever seen that documentary on VH1, Last Days of Left Eye? Really good but like very creepy...documents her last days before she was killed in a car accident...they were rolling cameras right until the car crash. Eerie.

I MISS TLC!!! They are one of my favorite bands of all time. Love Waterfalls, Unpretty and Red Light Special!
