| One of you is correct. ALREADY. This essentially means the game is over, so I won't bother to dole out all the info only to have it become moot. Congrats to our winner... JORDAN!Everything is coming up Jordan! To everyone else: Thank you so much for giving my game a shot, I wish it would have lasted a little longer, and hoped that a lucky guess or two would not happen early, but it did, and I hope that you didn't get too into the game. I look forward to hosting Clue 2, but with a few tweaks to give the killer a little more power, and make it so guesses are a little more difficult to pull off. Any constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks again all, and hopefully we can extend Clue 2 a little farther! | |

| Congrats, Jordan!
Since there was no post in the accusation thread, does that mean Jordan was the killer?
Derb, are you going to tell us who was playing each character and where their weapons were etc?
To be honest I have absolutely no idea what just happened or how Jordan won or who the killer was. In fact I still wasn't even sure how I was supposed to figure out who the killer/weapon/room was. Judging by the notes I was making, unless I got really lucky, I didn't see how I would be able to figure out the killer in less than 10 rounds.
Derb, would you mind explaining how it is people were going to figure out who the murderer was? The process for figuring out the killers is completely different in this game than the standard Clue boardgame.
I was pretty lucky in that the first 2 items I searched gave me clues. But even then I was still a looooong ways away from figuring out the killer. When I get home I will post what I was able to figure out and I am curious what notes everyone else came up with. Especially Jordan. lol

That was Jordan's last accusation, so I'm assuming that that is the correct answer.

| Ok Derb, wth is going on here? As fas as I can tell, this is the sequence of events... Day 1 - Jordan suspects Peach with Antifreeze in the Hall. Day 2 - Jordan suspects Peach with Tent Peg in the Kitchen. Day 3 - Jordan suspects Crimson with Tent Peg in the Conservatory. Game Over Um....huh? Derb can you please explain to me how Jordan won. He never made an accusation in the "Accusation Thread". Which is why I am so confused. If Jordan suspected the correct answer, wouldn't you send him a PM at the end of the round saying all 3 were correct. Then during day 4 Jordan could post in the "Accusation Thread"? | |

Jordan can you shed any light on what just happened? Did you ever make an accusation?

| I'm assuming he was told that the tent peg was in the kitchen and that the tent peg was the weapon, so he then next guessed who might have had the tent peg? Kind of surprised how fast he got that though. | |

- You may use this action once per turn, in the same post as your investigate action. At the end of the round, I will send you a PM (If you wanna 'friend' me so I can easily send you all PM's that would be fantastic! Plus, I love friends. ) The PM will contain a number 0-3, which indicates how many you have guessed correctly.
I wasn't sure how it worked for all of you but this must have been what happened.......... Day 1 - Jordan suspects Peach with Antifreeze in the Hall. He got 0 right Day 2 - Jordan suspects Peach with Tent Peg in the Kitchen. He got 2 right, so right away he knew Peach was innocent and that the Tent Peg was used in the Kitchen Day 3 - Jordan suspects Crimson with Tent Peg in the Conservatory. Next he just had to go through the suspects and he started with Crimson

| Day 1 I didn't get anything right. Day 2 I got 1 thing correct. Day 3, I took a guess at the tent peg being my 1 item I got accurate (since some others seemed to be using it a lot) and guessed on the murderer and room. I just got lucky is all!
I don't think derB had me post in the accusations thread purely to save time. There was no need to wait for me to post since no one else knew all three items and if they had guessed them this round, I would've made my accusation before they were notifed if they had all 3 right or not. That's just my guess, tho.

| I realize this game was kind of stilted. Mostly the game was supposed to be luck based with guess work involved. I tried to find a way to eliminate cards from the game, and I went with planting these cards as "clues" among items within the mansion, their location indicating where they were at the time of the murder. Only the player who happened to be in the same room as their own weapon (In this case, the person who chose Commander Crimson and the Tent Peg), while other characters evidence would be mismatched. So finding a clue in a room just means that that suspect/weapon is associated with that room. Each turn, you got a chance to look for a clue (card) and make a guess as you would in the board game, but not restricted to which room you are in. Then instead of getting a card response, you would get a number indicating how many elements of your guess were correct. Crimson with the tent peg in the Conservatory would have gotten you a result of 3, meaning all three are correct. Jordan managed to guess all three last round, and being so early in the game, there was no reason for him to not accuse as soon as he found out. It was rude of me to just dump this on you guys like this, but once I saw his correct guess I kind of felt that giving you guys your information was a moot point, so I did not send it, and decided to just declare Jordan the winner. So yeah, in a nutshell, I was not happy with the clunky mechanics of the game. So I made this call on the grounds that the game was not easy to understand, and I would rather start fresh and with something everybody can pick up and go with. So out of interest of hosting a better game, I called this game in favor of Jordan. As far as revealing characters and who chose them... Deputy Darkchocolate/Wok - DJ
Private Peaches/Broken Beer Bottle - PHOCQ
Representative Ruby/Chinese Throwing Stars - STACIE
Honorable Judge Lincoln Chartreuse IV/Flamethrower - ZACK
Senator Strawberry/Large-Mouth Bass - CAM
Ms. Sandee Blond/Antifreeze - JORDAN
Professor Turquoise/Scissors - PETE
Commander Crimson/Tent Peg - TIFFANII would like to do Clue 2, but don't look forward to seeing this format any time soon.

He got 2 right, so right away he knew Peach was innocent and that the Tent Peg was used in the Kitchen Day 3 - Jordan suspects Crimson with Tent Peg in the Conservatory. Next he just had to go through the suspects and he started with Crimson One of us is definitely confused about the rules....or more likely both of us are. lol What you quoted from Derb was for "Interrogations" which we were only allowed to do twice during the game. Not to be confused with "Suspecting" someone. And nobody ever used the "Interrogation" part during this game. Or if they did, I never saw it. From what I could gather from the rules, we weren't using the same mindset as the real Clue game. What we were really trying to figure out was who was in the same room as their weapon and what that room was. When we made our guesses each round ("Suspecting") the reply we got from Derb wasn't whether or not any of the things we said were used in the murder. His reply was whether or not any of those 3 things were linked together. For example, if I said Peaches with the Scissors in the Study and Derb said I got 0 correct, it didn't mean Peaches, Scissors and Study were innocent. It meant that none of those 3 things went together. So Peaches could have been the murderer, it just meant that the Scissors wasn't their weapon and Study wasn't the room the murder was committed in. Alternatively if Derb had said 1 of those things was correct, it meant 1 of 3 things. Either Peaches' weapon was the scissors, the scissors were in the Study or Peaches was in the study at the time of the murder. But doesn't mean any of those three things was actually used in the murder. I was trying to focus on what and who was in each room. Because the ROOMS were the key to figuring it out. You could know who everyone's weapons are but if you don't know what room the weapon and the holder were in, you are no closer to knowing who the murderer is. I think maybe the grid Derb provided may have led people down the wrong path. The grid Derb gave us is very much like a Logic Puzzle but shouldn't be used as such. At first I thought if Peaches is in the Study and the Scissors WERENT in the study, then the Scissors couldn't be Peaches weapon. That's how a normal logic puzzle would work. But in this game that isn't the case. The scissors could very well be Peaches' weapon since only 1 person was actually in the same room as their weapon...the murderer. Derb, I actually really enjoyed my 2 rounds of this game. Partially cause it had me really having to think about how the game worked and how I was going to figure it out. It was definitely a lot more challenging than the real Clue game. lol

And yes, I killed Mister Boddy for stealing my cookies!!! With my tent peg Yeah I went back and you are right. But either something was changed or I am losing my mind. During round 1 i was really confused about this game cause i swear to god it said that Interrogations could only be done TWICE the whole game. Once in a round but only 2 times in the whole game. So I figured it was something different than when we suspected people. Either the rules were edited or I have completely lost my mind. I suppose it's a good thing that Jordan guessed right. Cause I have a feeling not a single person in this game knew what they were doing. lol

| Phoc - I'm with you. I think something happened in the game description between sign ups and the start of the game. Because I remember seeing that and asking DerB about it, and he clarified that we would be able to interrogate once every round - you are not alone in thinking you are crazy on that one, | |

| I did change the rules before the game started. I felt being able to make guesses more often would have proven beneficial to the game, so I made them unlimited.
I have a feeling next Clue game is going to have a lot more with figuring things out in the classic way.
