INVESTIGATION: Round 1

Welcome back to the Boddy Mansion, suspects! It is your job to figure out who the killer is before they have a chance to frame one of you!

Be sure and read the rules well before you post your first turn. At this point, questions should be asked via PM please, as the game is underway.

AS TO DIP OUR TOES, the round ends WEDNESDAY at 2:00pm EST. If we get everything in before then and it all looks good, of course we may move on. I just wanna move at a pace that doesn't have people sweating over the game.

I investigate the Globe.
I suspect it was Honorable Judge Lincoln Chartreuse IV with the Antifreeze in the Billiard Room

Okay, so you are each in the rooms I sent you in your PM. From above, choose an object from the list below your room. This is the item you will investigate for clues. It might have a certain suspects fingerprints, footprints, etc. or it might contain/hide a weapon. Or it might be nothing at all. This represents who and what was where when the murder took place.

Only the suspect who is the murderer is in the same room as their own weapon. (the weapon they chose before the game started) Other suspects may be in the same room as another persons weapon, or completely alone.

The murderer will be able to move other players weapons once they are found by that player, and will have to place it somewhere else. They must beware though that this may leave extra evidence against them. (items with weapons removed/added will be identified as "tampered with")


Dice rolls (Staice, Tiffani, Pete, Phoc, I still need yours and where you would like to move) are done by selecting "1" for dice rolls before you post. You find the pulldown menu here:



Just select "Dice 1" and make sure you only roll "1". That is it. Tim the Enchanter does all the heavy lifting.

Innocents
You will, each turn, investigate an item that is in the room you are in, as well as take a classic clue-style guess ((Suspect) with the (Weapon) in the (Room)) and roll the die. After you read your number result, send me a PM with where you would like to move next. Once you do this, I will send you a PM with:

What clue (think of it like getting a card shown to you in clue, in a way) your investigated item held, what number of the things in your guess are correct (0-3), and a confirmation of what room you will be moving to.


Murderer
You will appear to do things like everyone else, but you have secondary, hidden actions as well. You will do all of the above, on top of inquiring about which of the suspects had which weapons, as well as picking up weapons you have found and placing them elsewhere. You can "carry" these items until you find a new home for them, but you can only carry one. All of this is done via PM, and your actions will be given priority (if you take a weapon from an item another player intends to investigate, you will have the weapon, and the other player will get a "tampered with" result.



On top of all this, you all must accuse correctly. Innocent people must make the correct accusation on all three items to win, but if they are wrong, they are out.

The murderer must place the correct pair of weapon/owner in the room the persons fingerprints/etc are in, and then accuse them. If they match the weapon and person correctly, they win.


Hope that helps keep the questions coming, this game seems like it could bloom into something substantial to me, with a few tweaks.
