Ugly babies

I just realized how much I dislike ugly babies.

I know it sounds awful to say, but I love babies, and seeing ugly ones feels like an oxymoron. The baby doesn't have to be downright adorable, but most babies at least look like your everyday, average baby. But then, occasionally, you'll see a really ugly baby, and it makes me sad. It's like seeing a dead puppy.

Granted, I'm a bit hypocritical, since I was an ugly baby until I hit twelve weeks, but still.

Does anyone understand where I'm coming from, or is everyone shaking their heads in disgust at me right now?

Idk, I've never seen a baby that I truly considered to be ugly. For that, I suppose I'm fortunate. I sort of get the puppy reference, in that babies are supposed to be adorable, and it's tragic when they're not. Also makes me sad to think about dead puppies
