This week's album isn't new, and it's not an anniversary thing. I've just been listening to Maladroit a lot lately and re-realizing how fantastic it is. Though I seem to be one of the few people who doesn't hate Weezer's newer stuff, I'm not completely ignorant of the fact that much of their older work possessed what at least felt like a more intentional and more directed approach. If you didn't listen to Weezer before Make Believe, Weezer (The Red Album), and Raditude, definitely take a break to go back in time to listen to some standout Maladroit tracks like "Keep Fishin'," "Take Control," and "Slob."
