Immunity Challenge 5 - RESULTS

Last time on Survivor: Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory...


Take a moment to strategize; you may need it.

Pie-slingers, ready? GO!


Immediately both Tribes begin to strategize. Much discussion is made about where to run to, how to throw pies, and just whether or not a pattern is going to be beneficial in this challenge.

At the same time, both Tribes decide that they'd had enough time, and they run for their pies!

Oddly enough, both Tribes have come up with similar offensive strategies and the exact same defensive strategy!







ROUND 1:

Hornswoggler collectively runs to their YELLOW square, Snozzwanger runs to their BLACK square, and the pies begin to fly!

Snozzwanger's pies land fruitlessly at Pink, Red, Black, Violet, Maroon, and Navy.

Hornswoggler's pies are equally as spread out on Lime, Orange, Blue...

*WHAP*

Pete takes a pie to the face as Kyle hurls one at the BLACK square!

ROUND 2:

After losing a member, Snozzwanger is determined to prevent any further lead. They run to the MAROON square while Hornswoggler takes cover behind Alex on the GREEN square.

Snozzwangers whips pies at the Violet, Maroon, Navy, Orange, and Blue squares... but they just can't seem to get a hit!

Meanwhile, Hornswoggler has launched their second assault on the yellow tribe. Alex shoots for Orange, Sadie flings a tasty dessert at Violet (the color, not her tribemate!), and...

*SMACK*

Brant gets creamed when Violet rockets a pie at the MAROON, bringing the score to...

ROUND 3:

As Brant wipes whipped cream off his face, he yells for his Tribe to keep it up! They gives him a thumbs up and run to the RED square while their opponents, elated at their lead fly in V-formation to the BLACK square.

Both tribes hurl their pies, but everyone manages to stay clean this time!

ROUND 4:

Both Tribes now getting antsy, Hornswoggler makes the first move by running to the NAVY square. Snozzwanger watches carefully as they head to the ORANGE square.

Hornswoggler launches another assault, this time launching pies at Green, Yellow, Pink, Blue...

*FWOP*

Cory lands one on Cam by aiming at ORANGE. That had to hurt!

Did Cam have the chance to make contact with one of the purple tribemates before he went down? Snozzwanger catapults their pies at Orange, Green, Yellow, and Lime... without a hit, yet again!

ROUND 5:

With only half the amount of members as their opponent, Snozzwanger decides carefully to take cover on the GOLD square. Hornswoggler confidently runs to the RED square.

Kenya, Bryan, and Travis take aim...

...and come up short for the Snozzwanger Tribe!

But it appears the Hornswoggler Tribe got cocky, because though they had six pies to throw, they also came out without a hit! (Blue, Lime, Black, Green, Navy, Violet)

ROUND 6:

This game is heating up. Hornswoggler, not wanting to lose another shot at the Snozzwanger Tribe regains focus and runs the MAROON square. Snozzwanger chooses the YELLOW square as their next launching pad.

Hornswoggler launches a barrage of tasty tarts at the Snozzwanger Tribe: Gold, Red, and...

*SPLOOSH*

Kenya find a particularly sticky mess on her face as Violet lobs a pie at the YELLOW square.

Luckily, Kenya was still able to get her pie into the air, along with her two tribemates' support. They choose their targets: Gold, Navy, and...

Red.

Yet another fruitless effort by the Snozzwanger Tribe. They just can't seem to get a hit!

ROUND 7:

The two remaining Snozzwanger men take a moment to strategize, but don't have much time to take cover on the LIME square before the onslaught of chocolate cream commences from Hornswoggler, planted firmly on the GOLD square.

*SPAK*

A pie explodes on Bryan's face, but it's difficult to see who threw it. They look back at the Hornswoggler tribe who threw at Blue, Gold, Red, Black, Orange, and... looking at the Lime square, it's Violet once again!

Bryan and Travis only have a moment to process the fact that their tosses toward the Violet and Maroon squares left them yet again without a hit.

ROUND 8:

Only Travis is left for the Snozzwanger tribe, and he managed to stumble on over to the GREEN square where he tosses high and wide a pie to the Black square.

Six pies fall around him (Lime, Navy, Violet, Maroon, Pink, and Orange), but none hit him. He realizes he still has time to follow the path of his pie...


But no one is standing on the Black square, and Snozzwanger comes up with nothing for the eighth round in a row!

ROUND 9:

Travis is exhausted from dodging all the pies, so his Tribe cheers him on. As he's running, he notices their encouragement and turns on the BLUE square to give them a thumbs up. Before he has the chance to throw his pie, he notices the change in his tribemates' expressions, and...


*KRAK*


He takes a pie to the back of the head. He turns around and sees the Hornswoggler Tribe crowding around Deetster on the BLACK square, pats on the back and high-fives all over the place.



HORNSWOGGLER TRIBE, congratulations on winning IMMUNITY.

Well, Snozzwanger, it looks like the streak just wasn't meant to be kept alive. You know what this means: you'll be meeting me tonight at Tribal Council to vote off one of your own.


Just a heads up, your votes will be due tomorrow night (Thursday, June 24th) at 11:00pm (~24 hours). Your Tribal Council thread will be updated with questions as soon as I have the chance (shouldn't be too long, but I wanted to make sure you guys saw the deadline before running off).
