Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Discussion

I didn't really see a general thread, so I made one

As for tonight's episode, I'm not going to give anything away in respect for those who have not seen it yet, but I'm noticing a trend that the Heroes are kind of becoming villains and vice versa. I also hate James now, and find Rupert obnoxious. They're actually making me almost tolerate Russell (almost being key) and I don't even mind Coach ( ) Sooo yeah let's chat once everyone's seen it!

I will say I so far like Randy, Courtney, Rob, Coach, Parvati, Sandra, Jerri and even Russell a little from the villains tribe
While the heroes, the only two I respect are Tom and Colby.

I want to know the reasonings behind certain peoples votes and that could make me like them again.

That episode was forgettable. Like Steph has been in 3 seasons.

So last nights episode was good I think. I was happy to see Cirie go, though she is one of my favorites she made a huge error in sticking with James, Amanda and Rupert. Those three are idiots and that is why she stuck with them, none of them can win this game if their lives depended on it.

Russell is stupid, sorry for those who like him but he is making the same mistake this season that he made last season. No social game, does he not realize this is a social game??? Seriously, he is not getting to know anyone, and he did this last season and this is why he'll NEVER win Survivor.

I sorta felt bad for Coach, I understand what he was trying to say, no matter how over the top or ridiculous it was. Tyson is an @ss though telling everyone.

SANDRA, the best winner ever, I think. I love her, she is so awesome. I liked that she did her spying trick again. She is truly in the best position I think because no one is targeting her and no one is really threatened by her, when they should be.

James, how stupid is he, saying that the social aspect of the game is not enjoyable, maybe I misunderstood what he was saying but again this is a social game. Can't wait to see him go.

Boston Rob is proving again why he was robbed in All Stars, thanks to bitter losers Lex and Big Tom he lost, but he should have won the game then.

The people that at this point I'd be okay with winning are: Sandra, Rob, Parvati, Courtney, Jerri, Colby, Tom, Candice and Coach.

Hopefully next week James goes, then Tyson, then Russell, then Danielle, then Rupert, then Amanda, then JT. If the final 9 were the ones I'd be okay with winning, I think it would be very interesting to see what would happen.

James is an idiot. He says he wants to win challenges and then keeps Cirie and votes Colby. What 'crazy stuff' was he talking about? He only does what people tell him to do and then bitches about what the other people are doing. He's like the biggest baby ever.

I have loved Amanda since she started Survivor, but this season is slowly killing that love... Like, make a decision for yourself, please. Maybe she will since Cirie is gone, although it's too late since it appears Colby<3/Tom<3/JT will have the power and vote her out.

And yeah, Russell was a total dumbass this round.

I think Cirie is really, really smart, but Mrs. 3-2-1, surprisingly didn't think this vote out as deeply as she could have.

She appeared to suspect that James or JT might flip, both who were supposed to vote Colby, since the guys were voting Colby. She should have just went ahead and voted COLBY at the TC. She would have known IF one of them switched, Tom would HAVE to play the idol, since the guys would have concocted their being a 3-3-2 voted, with Tom getting 3 votes. Had Cirie been clever, and just as a security voted Colby, it would have been better for her in every situation, accept Tom giving Colby the idol to play, which simply would not have made any sense given the scheme. It seemed Cirie sensed the possibility of the scheme, but didn't make the move to reduce the slim chances of her going, to make them EVEN slimmer. Idk, it just wasn't something I was expecting from Cirie who appears to think she's very very clever.

Yeah, all they needed to do was scare Tom into playing the idol, so they should have just split the votes 4/2 or 5/1. Buuut I'm stoked with the way it worked out

I LOVED Cirie getting booted. Because it meant Colby was safe <3 of course.

But really it was a good blindside.

Epic episode <3 <3 <3, I was so worried about Candice and then all of a sudden it's Cirie and I'm like YES!!! I never got the whole.. lets vote out the strong players at the start of the game so we can keep losing strategy LOL! Like come on Cirie isn't helping them in challenges.. if they want to kick ass.. they need to get rid of her.. haha I love Amanda but she totally just put her foot in her mouth and pissed people off.. like seriously she needs to just STFU and play for herself!

The only reason I want Russel around.. is he is amusing the crap outta me.. he's so stupid.. and I can't help but laugh at him. Rob <3 <3 <3!!!

Damn. I had a whole big thing responding to everything typed out, and the window closed for no reason. Cute. So here goes again...

1. Candice??? WHYYY? I was so confused when she was even cast, because I didn't know anyone even liked her, and she's hardly a hero considering she was the first person in Survivor history to BAIL on her tribe. What the heck? Plus, she was a total flake on Cook (from what I rememeber), and on this season she's been nothing more to me than a vote void of personality.

2. Amanda: I'm tired of her, because I watched China and Micronesia back to back right before this. I'm just sick of seeing her, sick of hearing her, sick of her over all. Casting four Favorites from Micronesia is bad enough, but casting THOSE four from Micronesia is just irritating to me.

3. James: see above. Also, he's by far the most annoying person in this game right now for me, which is saying a LOT, because Courtney, Coach, Russell, Jerri, and Rupert are all still around, and I've always been irritated by them. James I used to like as the quiet, anti-social, gentle giant. Now he's just an ass, and I can't believe that they kept him around this week. Blows my mind.

4. Cirie: see #3 and I'm glad she's gone. I loved her all over the place in her first TWO seasons, but I'm tired of her, and I just couldn't believe they kept her so long. She's not especially good at challenges this time around, she doesn't appear to do a whole lot around camp except be people's mama figure, and she's smart and manipulative as hell. Getting rid of her seemed like a perfect choice.

5. Steph: I thought I was irritated they brought her back since she was brought back once already for no reason, but I realized I really loved her. I wanted to watch her play the game with Tom and Colby SO bad. I really wanted to see Tom, Colby, JT, Steph, and Candice take over that tribe...

6. Russell...I just never know what to think of that guy...

7. Rob: Probably my favorite person on the season. No nonsense, logical, calm, good at challenges, MATURE, has an incredible survival mentality, etc. He's a different breed of Survivor, because not only can he be a character, he's actually good at the game. If Jeff ever leaves, bring back Rob to take his place. Honestly. He's a Hall of Famer in my book like very few others are.

I agree with everything you said! Except I like Jerri.

I loved Rob in Marquesas, hated him in All Stars, and just love him this time.

It makes no sense they kept James. Tom is so good at both types of challenges. Idk why they kept saying he was worthless. A dude in a splint? Come. ON. I saw a secret Amanda confessional, and she said it's because he's in her pocket. I totally agree with the logic, but it's not the time to be doing that shit since you KEEP LOSING... She's definitely running that tribe.

Idk why JT kept him though. Maybe he will realize when they lose next episode that James has been the problem for a while and finally side with Colby. I mean, he's already got Candice. If Rupert would stop being a douchebag -I know it's kinda hard for him- and think logically, everything would be good. Who wouldn't want an alliance with Colby and Tom?? They both keep their promises, and they're both HUGE shields at the merge. I don't get it at all...

I have no idea what the heck Rupert is trying to do...he's been so worthless this entire time...

Watch Rupert win. No one considers him a threat. I would laugh so hard. And then cry because Rupert is really boring this time.

If Rupert wins I will be devastated. Plus, Burnett can just throw another America's TC in there for him to ensure he gets a million anyway.

Never should have been under him in the first place. I never got that. Like other 'fan favorites' I've understood...but never that one.

Yeah, I think they like him because he was sexually abused as a child and is now helping children with related issues. That's the only reason I feel guilty about not liking him.

I just thought he was bad ass for stealing shoes in Pearl Islands, other then that he is a terrible player and a pain to watch.

The way he talks is just annoying... he stares at the camera with big intense eyes and slow talks everything, wonder what that head looks like without the hair... urgh
