| Seeing as it's EXACTLY three months before I leave Canada, I thought I'd compile a small list.
1) Our outlets/wattage 2) Root beer 3) My crabs and fish 4) Tim Horton's

| LMAO! None of my electronics will work without an adapter They have different wattages than us, so all my things will be fried if I don't use an adapter. | |

| I knooooooooooooow, it's just funny that you will MISS the wattage. Like once it's all plugged into the adapter you'll be blow drying your hair thinking "Man, this would be so much better with Canadian wattage." | |

| HAHAHAHA!!!! It's just an INCONVENIENCE! It's not like I'll have 20 adapters. I'll just have one that I'll need to use for everything, so I'll constantly be running around, trying to remember the last piece of electronics that I used. Plus, if I buy anything over there that needs to be plugged in, it's useless once I come back to Canada. | |

| lmao!! It's all just so inconvenient. Why can't we all use the same wattages? Anyway, I'm going to go buy some root beer now. I'm not sure how I'm going to last 16 months with NONE! So sad. | |

Don't you spew your socialist garbage in this forum!!!!!!!! What I'm confused about is missing root beer. Do they not have root beer, or does Canada have some kinda special root beer that you will especially miss?

| They don't have root beer in Europe. Or at least it's not common, you can get it in like special stores but most places don't carry that, or cream soda if you fancy cream soda.
Fanta though, you and start squirting that up your butthole because it's EVERYWHERE

| hahahahaha, yeah, Europeans can't stand root beer. My dad says it's because there's some medicated cream over there, that smells like root beer, and that's why they hate it. Doesn't make too much sense to me, but that's what all my English relatives say. 25 years in this country, and my dad still can't stand the taste of root beer. Back when he was new here, and his family was coming out to visit for the first time, he used to give them Dad's Old Fashioned Root Beer, since it's in a glass bottle, and he'd tell them it was Canadian beer. And they always believed him, but were PISSED once they tasted it. Another thing I'll miss: My DVDs | |

| Wattage? LOL.. that's the weirdest thing to miss. Although most electronics get by without adapters actually! It's the 21st century guys - I'm sure the good brainy people at Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and what not would've got that down pat! | |

Really? I went to England, France, and Belgium in 2007, and our group had COUNTLESS electronics get destroyed from it. I was one of the few who brought an adapter, and all my stuff was fine, lol. I'd rather not take my chances - djqwiksilver wrote:

Ahh... I don't know about Europe, but I could safely charge my Singapore-bought phone in Australia and Japan because it had a transformer that said V = 110W~240W, f = 50 -60Hz, meaning it's safe for anything in that range. I guess they do things different in Europe? And who wouldn't like the sweet green and yellow giant staring down your eyes... ...looking to be the thing of nightmares.
